What it takes to earn a diploma in Washington has changed! Mead School District is now required to implement the 24 credit diploma. The below listed requirements start with the Class of 2020 and are the same for you, class of 2022.
Completing the above listed credits will fulfill the dual purpose of earning a diploma and completing 4 year university entrance requirements. Substituting Personal Pathway Requirement credits where possible will result in finishing with a diploma and the entrance requirements for a 2 year college, the military, and various certification programs.
What exactly is a Personal Pathway Requirement credit? This video, produced by the Issaquah School District, does a pretty good job explaining them. Bottom line: PPRs are elective classes that support your High School and Beyond Plan.
