What is a High School & Beyond Plan and why do I complete one now? One of the new graduation requirements for the Class of 2020 is for each student to have a document that reflects their answer to the ESSENTIAL QUESTION and what courses the student is taking in high school to support that answer. The state calls this document the High School & Beyond Plan (HSBP). It is imperative for students to start the HSBP in 8th grade prior to registering for 9th grade classes and then update the HSBP each year during the registration process. The HSBP steers course selection and credit requirements (more on that later).
Where do I go to get started on my HSBP? When you are ready, the link to the Class of 2020 HSBP can be found on the NOW WHAT page.
